Staking

The Staking dashboard allows users to lock their native RITUAL tokens in the official Staking Contract to earn yield and secure the network.

How to Stake​

  1. Navigate to the Staking tab.
  2. The UI will display your current wallet balance and the amount of RITUAL you already have staked.
  3. Enter the amount of RITUAL you wish to stake.
  4. Click Stake RITUAL.

Because RITUAL is the native token of the chain, staking does not require a prior ERC-20 token approval. The tokens are sent directly to the contract along with the transaction data.

How to Unstake​

To retrieve your locked tokens:

  1. In the Staking tab, switch the action toggle from Stake to Unstake.
  2. Enter the amount of staked RITUAL you wish to withdraw.
  3. Click Unstake RITUAL.

The tokens will be returned to your wallet balance immediately upon transaction confirmation.

Note: As Cat Wallet is currently deployed on the Ritual Testnet, the displayed 8.5% APY is simulated for testing and demonstration purposes.
